As I get older, I realize more and more that happiness is something you choose, not something that is dangled at the end of a stick only to reach after you hit a goal or a target.

Many people can’t wait for 2020 to be over and for a new year to begin. But who’s to say 2021 is going to be better, easier, or more fluid than 2020? There are still a lot of unknowns and uncertainties.
In most cases, these things were anything but sudden or spontaneous. They were an accumulation of years of habits and rituals that created the build-up that PREDICTABLY caused the event.
We are setting a precedent and a standard for our lives that CANNOT be normalized. We can’t normalize dysfunction. We can’t normalize disconnection. We can’t normalize abnormal development in our kids.
It used to be believed that our nerve system and our immune system were separate systems working independently of one another. The nerve system controlled the body while the immune system protected it.
We now know that is not the case. The nerve system coordinates the functions of the body working in harmony with the immune system.
