In life, we are going to get hit with massive challenges whether we want to or not. Health challenges, deaths of loved ones, business, and financial struggles, and more, but we have to shift from a state of overwhelm to an empowering state if we really want our life to be better.
Ideally we want them both to be profoundly positive, but we can’t control the habits and behaviors of our grandparents and parents. We can control, however, the choices that we make with the genes that we have.
In life, “stuff” happens. We don’t want it to happen. We don’t like it when it happens, but it happens. We have to have the resilience to bounce back and stay consistent with our plan.
The truth is no matter what you have done or not done, you are worthy of love, joy, fulfillment, and an abundance of health.
As I get older, I realize more and more that happiness is something you choose, not something that is dangled at the end of a stick only to reach after you hit a goal or a target.
